  • Satellite clinics across Illinois to give more exposure to different disease pathology & socioeconomic statuses

CURRICULUM
  • 12 blocks per year; 3 elective per year

  • Daily protected conference time for 1-2 hours

  • Board review preparation

  • Intern boot camp

  • PICU boot camp

  • Teaching elective

  • Academic half day off on elective

  • Adding mental health curriculum with a child psychiatrist as Illinois doc assist

  • Joint conferences with psychiatry residents
